Dr. Nida places the highest priority on improving patient quality of life and function beginning with a thorough evaluation. He uses non-surgical options, and microscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures, including Gamma Knife, computer assisted stereotactic guidance. His expertise is the management of complex spinal problems involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar sacral areas, and, pain from vertebral osteoporotic or pathological fractures that has been successfully minimized with Kyphoplasty.
His research interests included traumatic brain injury. He has presented his research findings and written many publications including textbooks sections. He is involved in teaching medical students and surgical residents.
