Dr. Perez-Cruet is an internationally-recognized pioneer in the treatment of spinal disorders through the use of minimally-invasive surgical techniques. A minimally invasive textbook author, Outpatient Spinal Surgery and his most recent textbook, Minimally Invasive Spine Fusion: Techniques and Operative Nuances, his work has resulted in an improved quality of life for many patients. He is also the founder and president of the Minimally Invasive Neurosurgical Society (MINS), a national association.
His national medical educational program found on the College of Neurological Surgeons website Gray Matter, A Neurosurgical Overview, is now available, and “Neurosurgical Reference Card”, which was recently distributed to all second year medical students in the United States.
