Dr. Hofmeister graduated Michigan State University and received his medical degree from the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. He then completed internship at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, in Internal Medicine followed by residency at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, in Department of Anesthesiology, and finished with fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin in Pain Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
