Acupuncture can be included in treatment of digestive, respiratory, gynecologic and other medical conditions, and is useful in the treatment of acute strains, sprains, and other injuries, early treatment of which is associated with a lower incidence of chronic pain.

- Nausea following surgery or during chemotherapy
- Stroke Rehabilitation
- Headache
Acupuncture has been recognized to be potentially as effective as other treatments, with fewer side effects, in the treatment of:
- Tennis Elbow
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
