Dr. Fessler specializes in complex vascular abnormalities of the brain, neck and spinal cord for the treatment of aneurysms, carotid artery disease and stroke. He serves as the Specialist-in-Chief of Neurosurgery at the Detroit Medical Center and Chief of Neurosurgery at DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital. He was formerly the Director of the Ascension St. John Providence Health System Stroke Network and Telemedicine Program. Dr. Fessler has been the lead physician in the development of several statewide programs which provide state-of-the-art care to stroke and aneurysm patients.
