Justin Hugelier is a certified physician assistant specializing in neurosurgery, with extensive clinical and teaching experience in neurosurgery and neurocritical care. He has practiced in the Metro Detroit area in partnership with Michigan Head and Spine neurosurgeons since 2005 and has a passion for neurosurgery and his patients.
Justin works with neurosurgeon Robert Johnson II, M.D. with a particular focus on neurotrauma, spine conditions, as well as brain and spine tumors. He performs comprehensive general and neurosurgical physical exams, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, formulates patient diagnoses to develop conservative and surgical treatment plans. He routinely is surgical first assist to Dr. Johnson in the operating room.
